One-on-one sessions tailored to your specific needs. I develop customized management and training plans to deal with common problems such as house soiling, destructive chewing, and jumping, as well as more serious issues including shyness and stranger fears, anxiety, and aggression.

Private Training

Do you have specific training interests or goals, but don’t have the time or schedule to accommodate a group class? Or can’t find a class to suit your needs? Whether your interest lies in obedience, tracking, agility, or therapy and assistance dogs, I can help. I provide in home private training for obedience, tracking, and beginning agility. You will advance at your own pace with focused, one-on-one coaching, a custom training plan, and training logs to help measure your progress and celebrate your success.

Puppy Right Starts

The first two months of your puppy's life with you is a very, very important time developmentally for your puppy. Studies show that puppies who are well socialized during this time have fewer behavior problems as adult dogs. I focus on using this window of time to the fullest extent possible to help develop your puppy into happy, confident, social dog that is a joy to be around. In the 1 1/2 - 2hr Puppy Right Start session, you will learn about Socialization, Body Handling, Acquired Bite Inhibition (ABI), and Object exchanges. In addition, I will also provide you information on Housetraining, Crate Training, and Alone Training. Raising a puppy can be rewarding and fun, but can also be challenging, and at times frustrating. With a Puppy Right Start, I will help you create an environment in your home that will minimize the challenges and frustrations, and maximize the fun.
